disappointing experience with check-in procedures
The breakfast served in the morning was quite satisfactory, offering a nice variety. The room itself was spacious and well-furnished, making it comfortable for a one-night stay.
We faced a frustrating situation with the lack of staff on-site at check-in.

Recommended for cozy getaways
The room and bathroom were fine, really comfortable bed, and the bar was good with friendly locals. Met a couple of dogs hanging around, made the stay even better.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but acceptable.

We had a lovely stay in this charming spot. The walk through Rhinefield Ornamental Drive was breathtaking with those towering trees. The comfy room made it easier for us to relax after a day out exploring. The staff was friendly, too!
In my wife’s opinion, the toilet noises were annoying. For families with young kids, it would be great to have a little more soundproofing in the rooms.

No evening dinner option leads to a more limited culinary experience, especially with the bar closing at 9:30 PM. Rooms upstairs can be a challenge if you're hauling a pram up a steep, windy staircase. Be prepared for some heat in the summer. the room gets quite hot. Parking can become a hassle, and while the food is nicely presented, flavors and seasoning often miss the mark, leaving a bit to be desired. Some mornings, staple items like juice ran out, which felt preventable. great location but dining leaves room for improvement.

Lovely room, friendly staff, excellent food. Breakfast delay and no hot water both mornings were frustrating. Live music added a nice touch.

missingWrote a review on Jul 21spacious roomeasy accesslacking variety
The room featured a spacious layout with adequate furnishings, providing a comfortable place to rest after a long day. The location offers easy access to local attractions and scenic views, making it a pleasant spot to explore the area.
The breakfast timing was a bit frustrating, as it didn't start until 8:30 am, and the pin code for the entrance stopped working without prior notice. The evening menu lacked variety, with a cheeseboard priced at £9 falling short of expectations, featuring only two small portions of stale cheese and unappetizing crackers—a letdown for the price.

Just a balanced option for a brief retreat in Lymington with fantastic value for money. The bar had a good selection of cask beers that we truly enjoyed by the log fire. Make sure to try the varied lunch menu for a pleasant surprise.

missingWrote a review on Jun 18friendly staffcomfortable seatingdelicious foodparking issuesfood inconsistenciesdry sandwich
The East End Arms offers a cozy atmosphere with a charming country feel. The seating arrangement invites relaxation with comfy settees. The menu, though small, features high-quality dishes. my smoked trout starter was generous and delicious, while the sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. Hand cut chips were crispy and very enjoyable. Service was attentive, allowing us to savor each course without rushing. parking was challenging, and I faced some inconsistencies with the food on subsequent visits. One night, the main course was over salted, and dessert was inedible. Breakfast options included a bacon sandwich with dry bread, lacking seasoning and butter. Although staff friendliness shone through, more consistency in food quality would enhance the experience significantly.
